Which SageAbay Bengkung Belly Binding Wrap is Right For Me?

When we started out on our mission we had a big vision and intention to create a range of the highest quality, lowest impact Bengkung Belly Binding Wraps we possibly could. 

We time tested hundreds of fabrics to find the most durable, supportive and kind to both people and planet out there, until we finally settled on a range that we know will support your body in the best way possible.

We have four different fabric choices and five styles:

• Victoria Unbleached muslin cotton wrap comes in two options, both 17 yards long and 9 inches wide.

1. With raw – unstitched edges
2. With serged edges 

This non-GMO cotton option comes in two finishes: stitched edges and raw, as we wanted to create options for as many budgets as we could…so as many Mamas could benefit from the support of our Bengkung Belly Binding Wraps as possible.

As with any other fabric does, the version with raw edges may loose some threads while wrapping, washing and drying. But our high quality fabric will shed less than most. That said, if you’re looking for the utmost comfort, and a band that won’t shed at all, then we suggest to go with the one with serged (hemmed) edges.

• Lila GOTS certified 50% linen 50% cotton Bengkung Belly Binding wrap: 17 yards long and 9 inches wide, with serged (hemmed) edges.
  

This is the best we have in our collection at the moment. It is made of highest possible quality cotton and linen blend. It’s is strong and will get stronger after every wash (due to the nature of the linen) so it has a strong grip, but it’s buttery soft so it drapes very nicely.

• Rasa GOTS certified 100% cotton gauze Bengkung Belly Binding wrap: 17 yards long and 9 inches wide, with serged edges 

This cotton gauze wrap is unlike most gauze-fabrics because it is very strong, like our muslin wraps, so it grips just as well, but is also very soft so it drapes beautifully.

• Kala GOTS certified 100% handspun kala cotton Bengkung Belly binding wrap: 17 yards long by 8.5” wide 

The handspun nature of our Kala cotton makes it the softest option we have, and lighter than our linen cotton wraps, but it still gives very nice support. If you want strong fabric but slightly less bulk, then Kala cotton wraps are way to go.
